Situated on the waters edge the New Holmwood Hotel & Restaurant enjoys spectacular sea views of both sailing & the famous sunset off Egypt point, Our restaurant offers panoramic views of all the Solent and all the ships that sail it.

Open from 12pm - 2pm and 7pm - 9.30pm there is a daily Table d’hôte menu (lunch and dinner), Full A La Carte menu and a Bar Snack menu available daily.

Our experienced Kitchen Brigade produce superb, freshly cooked cuisine using locally sourced produce where possible and are pleased to cater for any special requirements with prior notice.

A well-stocked bar and an extensive wine cellar ensure you will find a refreshment to compliment your dining experience.

We are open to non-residents for Breakfast, Luncheon & Dinner.

It might be of interest to know that Victoria and Albert used to stroll past the Holmwood after dinner at Osbourne House for the express purpose of watching the late sunsets at the Point, which was their favourite place on the Parade.
