We very much enjoyed our stay at this seafront hotel. It’s position on the Solent is directly facing the point where all the ocean liners turn to head up Southampton water, always something to look at. We liked the fact that it’s not a big overcrowded hotel. No queuing for breakfast here.

Friendly, attentive service. You really feel like a guest here, not just a customer. Our room was extremely comfortable and very cosy. Lovely, large super comfy bed. Ultra-quiet!! A huge plus in my eyes! We liked the daily room service, bottles of water, tea, coffee, biscuits replenished daily.

The food and service in the restaurant is top notch. Breakfast was a pleasure with table service, no fighting for the last bit of bacon!

A lovely 15-minute stroll to Cowes makes it very convenient. I would recommend this hotel wholeheartedly. If ultra-modern is your taste, then maybe not for you. If you like service with a smile, feeling welcome, superb food and a beautiful comfortable night’s sleep, you would be hard pressed to match New Holmwood!
